
Sean Colletti is a poet who was born and raised in Southern California. In 2009, he moved to England, where he received his BA in English and Creative Writing (University of Birmingham, 2012), MA in Creative Writing: Prose (University of East Anglia, 2013) and PhD in Film + Creative Writing (University of Birmingham, 2020). His debut pamphlet of poetry, Saeculum, was published by Bare Fiction in 2018. Sean has been shortlisted for Birmingham Poet Laureate and longlisted for an Out-Spoken Prize in Poetry in addition to winning Dublin’s Slam Sunday and the UK’s international collegiate team poetry competition multiple times, as poet and as coach. He has also been working as a film and television critic since 2013, currently writing and podcasting for Canada’s Tilt Magazine.
